Why Moisture Matters
The moisture content of wood chip makes a big difference to how well a biomass boiler runs. Wet chip wastes energy driving off water, burns less efficiently and gives less heat.
We monitor moisture while our wood chip is produced and stored, keeping it within 20 to 30%, so the fuel you receive is ready to burn.

We supply boiler wood chip in sizes from G30 to G50. If your boiler needs a particular specification, tell us when you order and we can process the chip to suit, although bespoke sizes can take a little longer.
