From Log to Wood Chip

Our wood chip is made mainly from hardwoods such as oak, ash, beech and birch, sourced from well-managed forestry. Hardwood chip gives a high heat value in a boiler and a clean, even finish on a garden or path.

We can supply a range of chip sizes, from G30 to G50, and can work to a particular specification for your boiler. Bespoke sizes can take a little longer to process, so mention it when you order.

Wood Chip for Every Job

Alongside wood chips for biomass boilers, bulk bags and landscaping wood chips, we supply bulk blown wood chips, hardwood wood chips, chicken run wood chips and play-grade wood chip, and we supply public sector customers too.

Whether you are filling a farm boiler store in Ormskirk, mulching borders in Preston or resurfacing a play area in Chorley, one call to BioMass Woodchip Ltd covers the wood chip and the delivery. We deliver across Ormskirk, Preston, Chorley, Skelmersdale, Leyland and the wider North West.

Fuel for Biomass Boilers

A biomass boiler runs best on the right chip. Our boiler fuel comes in sizes from G30 to G50 and is kept below 30% moisture, so it burns efficiently and gives a good heat output.

We deliver straight into fuel stores and bunkers with bulk tipping and walking floor lorries, or blow the chip into place where that suits the store. Regular customers can ask about volume-based pricing.
